Paws in tents is back! Slightly different due to COVID BUT still set to be an awesome experience! This camp we are capped at 16 families with 4 electric pitches available. All the best bits of Paws in tents are still here! We have got assistance dog training workshops, self-guided nature activities and crafts and campfire.
Here is the camp schedule. The self-guided nature activities and self-guided arts and crafts are available between 7am and 9pm each day. For each nature and crafts activity, you just pick up an activity pack and off you go!
25th June
4pm – camp starts
5.30pm – Dinner
7pm – camp fire
26th June
7.30 till 9am – breakfast
9.30am – find named people (the child or a parent/carer)
11am – pick up / fetch items
11.45 till 12.45 - lunch
1pm – interrupt and support anxiety, meltdowns, panic attacks etc
3pm – opening doors and assisting to remove socks, jackets and hat
5pm - Dinner time
7pm - Campfire
27th June
7.30 – 9am – breakfast
9.30am – teach the dog to wake you up
11am - support on roads (including waiting at each curb, warning handler of upcoming obstacle, refusing to cross in front of car, dual handling)
1.30am – canine assisted activities (while parents pack down)
3pm - camp close
Basic food is provided to make your own/ help yourself for breakfast and lunch.
For breakfast you can help yourself to cereal, milk, pain au chocolate, bread (not toast) and spreads.
For lunch we provide bread, cheese, ham, marmite, and jam for sandwich making, a packet of crisps, a chocolate bar and fruit.
For dinner on Friday night we will be getting chippy chips (any extras not included but can be ordered)
For dinner on Saturday night we will be doing communal campfire cooking!
Tea, coffee, hot chocolate and squash provided.
This is our 3rd time returning to the amazing park farm camping in Norfolk. The site is a wonderful space with accessible toilet, family bathroom as well as male and female toilets and laundry room. The site has a lovely park as well. But what makes Park farm extra special are Derek and Julie who run the site.

*unfortuantely we cannot accept booking from families training their dog as an assistance dog with another organisation.
Camp is open to ALL pawsitive Squad client families (whether on the assistance dog program or not) and families with a child with additional needs under 16 years old with a pet dog.or owner trained assistance dog.
£25 per person for Pawsitive Squad registered families/groups
£30 per person for families not on the Pawsitive Squad program
Under 2's are free, dogs free. Cost includes all activities and the basic food and drink menu as above.
